D and Conure 1 HTML

Blessings

I wanted to explore D’s sexual side. Oh, stop screaming you guys! I always come away from every VHD fan fiction feeling that D was a very old virgin. Now, if D is as old as some sources say (about 5 000 years), He would be a very OLD virgin indeed! Think about it, guys. Five THOUSAND YEARS. It’s a VERY long time to 1) never have sex and 2) never find at least one date you really really like. Okay, I realize that D is stubborn enough to survive that long, but heck ...In ShadowBlood he finally breaks. This story explains how :-) . Hopefully I’ll be able to do it tactfully !

(Tactfully? It’s vampire porn. There is no such thing as ‘tact’! :-P )

Rated NC 17

**************

He hated his dad sometimes. REALLY hated his dad. It wasn’t the fact his dad was a bad guy. It’s was the damnable Vampire genes he had inherited that he loathed and today of all days, D’s vampirism decided to roar out of submission.

He’d been traveling with his new weapons student when it started. They’d stopped through a large village to pick up basic supplies before heading off on a new job. The student, Conure, was a chipper and eager Dhampire with a sweet round face and gleeful manner. She had insisted that they pick up some last minute items before they rode out into the mountains. She was a budding warrior and D was pleased to have a riding companion after months of solitude, but when she had suggested a trip to the village, he had refused. He felt it would slow them down. However, she could be as hard headed as he and D finally relented. Now he stood by the stable door while Conure bartered the price of new blankets for their horses.

“A Hundred Silverlings? Are you CRAZY?” she said, her voice shrill. “No way. I’m not paying more than Fifty for those. I can get them down the street for at least that price!”

The Stable owner shook his head, his hands flailing in determination.

‘Fifty is too cheap. The cloth itself is worth least sixty five!”

Conure snorted in disgust.

“HA! I could ship from space for less!”

D would have bartered the blankets himself, but Conure had insisted. Secretly he was happy that she had taken over as he wasn’t in the frame of mind. It was rare that he didn’t have concentration that made him the warrior he was, but for the first time in years he just couldn’t focus. He was tired and that just made the situation worse. He knew what the symptoms meant and it wasn’t good news. Despite heeding Lefty’s warnings regarding caring for himself, D had Overheated. That had just made the Dhampire feel worse. This had been a particularly stressful ride and he had collapsed while rushing to get to a Tavern before it closed its doors. Conure had been forced to bury him and when he cooled enough to pull himself out of the dirt, he found that the Vampire in him had emerged with a vengeance. He surprised himself by desperately downing an entire liter of synthesized Blood. A week later and he still felt terrible.

He shifted his feet impatiently and stared down the wide dirt road. His horse snorted impatiently behind him and nipped his cloak in protest. instinctively, he patted the cyborg on it’s silken nose. Finally Conure pulled away from the Stable owner, exchanged some of the local decorative silver coins and folded the blankets before she stuffed them into a Saddlebag laying on her horse’s haunches.

“Had to pay seventy five for them. Not bad.” Her smile was soft and triumphant as she spoke to him.

D’s smile was just as soft as she loaded up. He felt the urge to get annoyed with her but he resisted the emotion. D scowled at that. Conure may have had her annoying points, but successfully bartering down expensive blankets was not one of them.

“You’re getting better.” he said calmly. He then reached over to help her fix the blankets. “It’s better if you roll them, you know.”

“Got nothing to tie them with.” she said. She blushed when D pulled out several tough twine ties from his own saddlebags and tossed them to her.

“Thanks” She said. “Where we off to next?” she asked. She seemed oblivious to the way D felt, but D was an expert at masking his emotions. Perhaps he was too good.

D shrugged slightly and looked back towards the row of goods on the far side of the village. There was clothing and religious goods being hawked over by potential buyers.

“Might as well hang out with the others.” he said, nodding his head in the direction of the clothing.

“The Vampires? Hell yeah” Conure said with a toothy grin. Her curved fangs glistened slightly in the early evening light.

When she had attached the blankets firmly to her saddle, she lead her horse back onto the street and towards the small Vampiric section of the village. The streets were bustling. There were a mix of humans, Dhampires and Vampires going about their work, hollering to each other for directions or swearing at each other in friendly jests. They passed a Forge and the clanging resounded loudly despite the noise from the masses. D watched the chaos with some interest, but his thoughts dwelled on leaving the village and getting a calm campsite where he could rest. He and Conure had been on the go non stop for three days. If it wasn’t weapons lessons, it was heading off towards their new assignment. They were to protect a young vampire Lord who was having problems with the established peasants. Apparently they were not happy with their new ruler. The Vampire lord had hired Conure, D, an unknown Vampire and several humans in hopes that some peace would flourish if there was proof that Vampires and humans could get along.

D spent a lot of time concerning himself with that situation. The Lord would not say who the Vampire was, but he was assured that he was helpful, experienced in public relations and eager to get the job done. The Humans were female. D had worked with them before and he’d told Conure some of their more amusing habits. This had enthralled the Younger Dhampire and she could not stop asking about the warriors.

She was asking about them now. Over the noise of the crowd she had to yell, but D found that he couldn’t answer. The world suddenly spinned and he forced himself to stop to lean on his horse’s shoulder. When D didn’t answer her, Conure turned to see what was wrong.

“You ok?” She asked, gently holding his arm.

D’s eyes were closed and he swayed a bit, but he quickly regained his composure.

“I’m better.” He said. Conure grabbed his arm harder, preventing him from walking on.

“Quit the Bullshit, D. I know you better than that. What’s Wrong?”

D eyed her with unshielded annoyance which he immediately regretted. He couldn’t help it. He wanted to get mad at her. We wanted to get angry at everything.

“Still not feeling well” he finally admitted. His voice was quiet. He didn’t want to worry his student and in an attempt to hide how he truly felt he began to step away from her. He was in mid stride when he suddenly found the world spinning again.
