This section describes the species that I have not included in in the species Biology section. If enough information on these creatures is created, they will be moved to that section.

As of August 16, this section is incomplete.

Species Profiles HTML

Daemons:

Evil. That’s the best way to describe these creatures. Pure, untainted evil. They have one main form and it’s thought that they warped their forms by magick and technology, but what they are now is nothing what they used to be. They are huge, often stories high, with three claws and a huge laser sharp hook for a main claw. They have a huge horn on their head that’s sword sharp and these creatures are skilled at using them. Their mouths are long and lined with fearful teeth. As lumbering as their forms may be, they are swift and almost god like in their power. Some would say they are more powerful than Angels.

They thrive on cunning, fear, hatred, misery and they are experts at pretending to be the most pleasant creatures in the world. They are shape shifters. They are very intelligent and live on manipulating things to suit their wants. The older, more powerful Daemons are not to be screwed with. Few, if any mortals can handle these beasts and many are hired to kill, or drive off the weaker ones. Daemons are hard to kill because they have every ability known and then some. They are telepathic, telekinetic, shape shifting and they really ARE the most scary creature known to the living universe! They thrive on fear and hatred and grow stronger in its presence. The create these feelings in order to feed of them. Where these creatures go they leave a wake of torment and death. They are said to have no knowledge of joy or creation, with the exception of creating something only to destroy it. They often travel in the ShadowBlood universe as humans but where they go few survive and those who do wish that they had died. These creatures are based in the spirit realm and are hated by ALL. They have the ability to fade in and out of shadows, and use the shadows to kill others. They can also materialize in the physical realm and devour everyone with one thought. They can make people explode with one thought, then recreate them in a hideous mass of limb and leave the creatures to slowly die that way. There are no ‘nice’ Daemons, though a few have slowed in their destruction enough to speak to mortals. Most of these speeches have been propaganda, or seemingly truthful information laced with enough misinformation to twist a society’s thoughts.

No one knows how they breed. All that is know is that they never go away. No one is sure how to stop their forces, with the exception of Dracula. It’s said he’s created a Messiah to put an end to the Daemons and she has the power that will rival the other creations Dracula has created. Dracula himself finds it difficult to stop these creatures and that is why he has been planning an army to fight against Daemons. The Daemons, however, have discovered of this Messiah and have every intention of using it for their own needs, then torturing it for as long as it will live.

Angels:

Angles are they stereotyped winged ‘beings of light’ that most folk think of when angels are mentioned. They are shape shifters and they can walk through walls, create light, and can walk into the spirit realm (Actually they are inhabitants of the spirit realm) and the physical realm with half a thought. Most are good natured and willing to help. Some are powerful warriors while others are noted messengers. All Angels and ‘mortal’ spirits know what Dracula looks like in his true form.

There are two factions of Angels. All were created by Dracula to serve him, but because of differences of opinion, some have decided to split away from his forces. Those who still work for Dracula are known as Draculans. Those who have split away are knows as Outters. Outters are much more relaxed and loose in their roles and titles than the Draculans.

There are two levels of Angels. The most powerful are the Elders and they are equal to status to the Morpheus and share space at Dracula’s private castle. Only Dracula has more power than these two serving forces. The Draculans work very closely with the Morpheus, manipulating and relaying information to the Dream Walkers in order to get Dracula’s messages across with them.

The lower Angels, known as Lowers, actively help the mortals with their work on Earth. They are also known as Guardian spirits and aid the living setting goals and avoiding hungry tigers when out for a walk :-) . Both Elders and Lowers are one step away from being classified as ‘Mortal’ spirits. The only difference between them and the Mortals is that ‘Mortal’ spirits have lived at least one life in the great realm of creation. Most of the Older Angels don’t bother with living a mortal life. Being an angel is Much cushier and they are very powerful indeed! The younger Angels openly breed with mortals (Usually humans, Elves, Vampires and some Mutants) though the older Angels disprove of this.

The hierarchy in the created world is as so:

Dracula
The Angels and Morpheus
‘Mortal’ spirits
Mortals and Ghosts
Daemons

Demons:

These guys aren’t the evil buggers that most people think of when they see the name. They’re bizarre creatures that come in several forms and flavors, but they are very much like Vampires and Mutants in abilities, only they have one uniting characteristic: They can be truly invasive creatures.

Most Demons are rather benign and get along fine with the rest of the universe. They, like Angels and Daemons, can hop back and forth between the physical and spirit realms, but Demons have a harder time of it than Angels. Demons have fewer problems manipulating others than other species, though this depends on the creature and their sub family. Lefty is similar to a demon but isn’t one, as his kind are properly known as Symbiotes. It’s like comparing Dinosaurs and Birds. Close and related, but not the same thing.

Demons come in all shapes and sizes. Some have multiple mouths (sometimes in the middle of their stomach...) and others are just plain annoying creatures that like to play with others minds. They get along fairly well with other species, though they can be difficult to understand at times.

A special note about Simbiotes:

Simbiotes are pretty friendly creatures. They thrive off of several aspects of the earth and are capable of ‘eating’ souls. They don’t kill the soul, but they harness that unwilling spirit’s power before they spit it back into the spirit realm. This harnessing may go on for months, or even years before the creature is allowed its freedom. When this is not available they eat four things: Wind, water, earth and air. This is how they regenerate their hosts (and sometimes their own bodies) and recycle their special powers when their hosts are in need of their help.
